one thing, one week challenge two: met


I wasn't sure I'd make my own goal, what with everybody and their brother wanting to see us this weekend, but I pulled it off.  The second I Spy quilt is a top!

I bought backing fabric for it yesterday:


Can you think of anything more perfect?  The biggest circles are probably 3 inches across, so it's a good large-scale print for a quilt back.  I was thrilled when I found it!

And with that, I need to get going.  Late dinner tonight and it's needing my attention again.

"Perfect!" is exactly what I said, even before I scrolled down to find that's what you said too! I think that may turn out to be the cutest I Spy quilt I've ever seen! Even the border fabric is perfect, as well as your "circles". ---"Love"

Your quilt turned out great! I love the pictures in the circles. You have a fantastic group of fabrics in there. The border is very pretty and the backing is perfect! You did a great job! Hope dinner was yummy!

glad you could complete your challenge, even with all the company! I had a weekend like that, so much planned, family showed up out of the blue, so i stuck them with my husband, he took them golfing while i stayed home and completed what i needed to do! bad i know but i didnt want to change my plans!
