But thankfully, I only had a few more parts to sew on and I'm done a day early!
There are only 4 in the pattern and my challenge to get all their applique parts sewn on is finished.
The next step is to stitch a tail that connects that yellow circle, so I'm off to see if I can find a good tutorial on a chain stitch.
(But you all know I'm nearly dying to get started with my new goodies, right?)
Happy quilting
Katie
Yeah! You met your challenge. The chain stitch is pretty easy, so you should be finished with that soon, then you can dig into all your new goodies!
ReplyDeleteThe dogs remind me of the children's pull-toy with the 'slinky' in the middle. They are really cute. Do you have to finish the whole quilt (or just the dogs) before you can dig into the new fabric?

Those blocks are too cute. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished quilt - after you take time to play in your new goodies of course :)
ReplyDeleteThat dog is just too cute. Chain stitch is easy and pretty fast so you will be on to your new projects in a flash.
